Conclave Highlights
Entertainment:
LaughingStock
Comedy Company

LaughingStock Comedy Company is: The
Funniest Company in Business
For over 20 years, members of LaughingStock
have been lampooning America’s corporate
culture at banquets, association meetings,
customer fetes, trade shows and other
special events. They have created comedy
mayhem live on stage, on audio and video
industrials, and on-line.
LaughingStock’s success is a result of
extensive background research into every
single audience for whom they perform
combined with quick-witted comedians taking
and using audience suggestions during the
performances. LaughingStock’s experienced
actor/comedians are well schooled in
improvisational comedy techniques and —
armed with their background research —
spontaneously create fun and funny scenes
based on the work lives of the audience.
Another key to LaughingStock’s success is
their ability to roast the job without
roasting the person. LaughingStock rarely
names names, poking gentle fun at all the
other constituencies that get in the way of
someone getting their job done: management,
customers, regulators, associates and even
family.
LaughingStock has performed well over 1000
shows for corporate and association special
events in the US, Canada and Mexico.
Business sectors have included financial and
insurance, healthcare and pharmaceuticals,
technology and manufacturing, transportation
and communications, utilities, government
and many, many more.
LaughingStock’s comedians come from a
variety of backgrounds and educations and
have one important thing in common: They all
think making people laugh is the best job in
the whole world.

Workshop
Instructor:

If you’ve ever found
yourself wanting to help a mom who struggles with an
inner conflict—someone who desperately wants to achieve
a gentle, natural birth, but who self-sabotages because
of a deep-seated fear, belief or experience--you will
not want to miss this opportunity to learn how to
incorporate parts therapy into your practice. Your mom
may be a prime candidate for parts therapy. This is a
profoundly beneficial technique, taught and practiced by
the late Charles Tebbetts. When competently facilitated,
parts therapy can help your client get past barriers and
get to the core of a problem that other techniques may
approach from only the surface (breech presentations,
chronic hyperemesis, prolonged gestation, etc. In this
dynamic workshop, you will discover how to maximize
results for the parents and clients that you serve and
learn how to avoid possible pitfalls.
The PARTS THERAPY workshop is experiential and an
absolute MUST for anyone who truly wants to help resolve
issues that can stand in the way of a happy and
rewarding life or a smooth, easy birth.
If you never do
anything else for yourself professionally, you will
definitely want to attend this workshop. It will change
the way you practice hypnotherapy. Certified
hypnotherapists only. Conclave Tuition $350.
Objectives: Participants will learn…
• What parts therapy is
• When to use parts
therapy
• Why parts therapy is
best for some clients
• How to use parts
therapy (complete step-by-step process)
• How to explain parts
therapy to your clients, and why explanation is needed
• Why it is important to
be an objective mediator
• How to avoid
inappropriate leading, and the potential consequences of

MONTEZUMA CASTLE
Interestingly, the name
Montezuma Castle was a mistaken
name. Early settlers who
discovered the cliff dwelling
ruins erroneously connected them
to the Aztec emperor Montezuma,
but in-fact the Sinaqua ruins
had been abandoned a hundred
years before Montezuma was even
born. And the dwellings weren't
a castle at all, but a
multi-family "prehistoric high
rise apartment complex". |
No
doubt the Sinaqua were daring builders
having scaled the high cliffs to
carve-out a recessed area into the
limestone walls to erect these strongly
built dwellings high above overlooking
the Beaver Creek area just a few miles
from what is now known as Camp Verde
Arizona.
It took ladders to climb to Montezuma
Castle and as the Sinaqua reached each
level, the ladders made their way to the
cliff community making it difficult for
enemy tribes to penetrate the natural
defense of straight-vertical barriers.
Artifacts confirmed the Sinaqua were
fine artisans. Stone tools, metates for
grinding corn, bone needles that wove
colorful garments and ornaments of
shell, turquoise and local gemstones
have been discovered. Pottery was not an
ornate craft but simply plain ware for
cooking.
Montezuma Castle is a five-story,
20-room cliff dwelling that sits in a
recessed area into the cliffs. Nearby is
Tuzigoot (Apache for "Crooked Water"),
remnants of a Sinquan Village built on a
ridge summit. Tuzigoot was two stories
high with 77 ground floor rooms that
were assessable via ladders through roof
openings.

BELL
ROCK
is one of the first red rock
formations you see when you
arrive in The Village of Oak
Creek and is considered to be a
vortex. There are two trails
that begin at the Bell Rock
Vista. Both are considered an
easy walk. People say that when
they hike these trails, they
experience an electrical charge
throughout their bodies and can
hike for hours without noticing
how much time has passed.
The Bell Rock area will help you
to experience for yourself why
Sedona has been voted one of the
most beautiful scenic spots in
America. A short walk here can
help you feel the magic and
tranquility that Bell Rock
offers, making it one of
Sedona's favorite sites!
|
 |
If you
decide to take a walk on the Bell Rock
trails, look closely at the ground from
time to time, and you might see paw
prints. And if you're real quiet, you
may get lucky and spot a coyote on the
trail or even a red or silver fox. This
area is home to many cottontails and
very large jack rabbits with long ears.
Javelinas also live here. They look like
furry pigs with a large snout and
reddish eyes. Lizards can easily be seen
as they scurry around the landscape or
rest on a rock in the sun. Hummingbirds
can appear suddenly as they fly from
tree to tree. Hawks and sometimes eagles
can be seen in the skies of Sedona.
With all the many stream banks, farms,
different elevations, cliffs and climate
changes, the Verde Valley brings more
then 297 species of birds. Making this
area their year round home or using
habitats here during their migrations.

CHAPEL
OF THE RED ROCKS
Designed by Marguerite Brunswig
Staude, a student of Frank Lloyd
Wright, the Chapel of the Holy
Cross was completed in 1956 and
is a favorite tourist attraction
for many of those who visit
Sedona. The Chapel of the Holy
Cross was nestled beautifully
into a red rock roost that has
breathtaking views of the
majestic Cathedral Rock, Bell
Rock, Courthouse Butte and much
of the eastern rim of Sedona. |
|
SNOOPY
ROCK
One of the rock formations with
the most likeness to its name,
Snoopy Rock resembles
everybody's favorite Peanuts
character, Snoopy. High above
Oak Creek Canyon, Snoopy lies
asleep atop his doghouse with
Woodstock on his nose. |
 |
AIRPORT VORTEX
MEDITATION & CEREMONY
 |
A
vortex is the funnel shape
created by a whirling fluid or
by the motion of spiraling
energy. Familiar examples of
vortex shapes are whirlwinds,
tornadoes, and water going down
a drain. A vortex can be made up
of anything that flows, such as
wind, water, or electricity |
 |
The
vortexes in Sedona are swirling centers
of subtle energy coming out from the
surface of the earth. The vortex energy
is not exactly electricity or magnetism,
although it does leave a slight
measurable residual magnetism in the
places where it is strongest.
There are four main energy vortexes in
Sedona. The subtle energy that exists at
these locations interacts with who a
person is inside. The energy resonates
with and strengthens the Inner Being of
each person that comes within about a
quarter to a half mile of it. This
resonance happens because the vortex
energy is very similar to the subtle
energy operating in the energy centers
inside each person. If you are at all a
sensitive person, it is easy to feel the
energy at these vortexes.
