Teachers of HypnoBirthing get National Regulation

Teachers of HypnoBirthing who meet National and Profession standards are now able to register as Antenatal Teachers with the Federation of Antenatal Educators (FEDANT)

The UK regulator for Antenatal Educators (FEDANT) has today granted National Register admission to teachers holding the HypnoBirthing Institute award.

FEDANT works closely with professional bodies, Charities, The Nursing and Midwifery Council and other Government regulatory bodies to offer a regulatory provision for appropriatley qualified Antenatal Educators. The Regulator is a non-profit body and services to parents are free of charge.

The primary role of the regulator is to protect the public by providing a National Register of validated professionals. With expanding parental choice and the introduction of various independent qualifications in Antenatal Education and the development of private antenatal and midwifery services, the role of the Antenatal Educator has become recognised as a health profession in its own right.
